Villagers kill two history-sheeters
Fatehpur, Oct 30 (UNI) Two history-sheeters were allegedly killed in cross-firing by locals in Naseerpur village here this afternoon.
Police said the deceased were the aides of wanted criminal, Amar Kevat, who is carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head.
According to village pradhan Iqbal Ahmed, the incident took place after the two entered Naseerpur to commit a robbery.
However, the villagers challenged them and started firing.
Meanwhile, the two criminals were yet to be identified, the police added.
The terror of Kevat gang haunts several districts of Uttar Pradesh. A case had been registered, in this connection.
