US national security adviser visits Baghdad for talks
BAGHDAD, Oct 30 (Reuters) President George W Bush's national security adviser Stephen Hadley has arrived in Baghdad for talks with the Iraqi government, a US embassy spokesman said today.
The spokesman gave no further details. The trip follows strains between Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's Shi'ite-led government and US officials over political and security steps intended to restore stability to Iraq and allow US troops to withdraw.
