Tata Motors Q2 net up 30.73 pc to Rs 442 cr

Mumbai, Oct 30: Tata Motors Ltd has posted net profit of Rs 441.72 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 337.87 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, a rise of 30.73 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 4,846.22 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, to Rs 6,656.62 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
