Suspected militant dies in encounter

Imphal, Oct 30: A suspected militant was today shot dead by a combined force of police and troops at Kakching Khunou in Manupur's Thoubal district, police said.

Police also nabbed a suspected militant from the area.

The militant was shot dead in an encounter and operations were going on to apprehend any other suspected militants in the area.
