Singapore keen on furthering all-round development of Gujarat

Gandhinagar, Oct 30 (UNI) The Singapore government today shown keen interest in all-round development of the Gujarat through bilateral relationship in various fields.

The Singapore government has also agreed to send its delegation to the Gujarat government's 'Vibrant Gujarat Global Investment Meet-2007', which is likely to be held in January, 2007, an official release said here today.

This assurance was given by Singapore's senior Minister Goh Chok Tong to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a business-development tour of Singapore and China.

Gujarat's delegation also held one-to-one meeting with the leading industrialists of the Singapore, the release said.

Mr Modi also apprised Mr Tong that Gujarat is a leading state of India with the investment of US Dollars 73.3 billion in over 8,100 industrial projects, the release added.
