Sania hangs on 67: Paes, Bhupathi slip in rankings ladder

New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) Out of action Sania Mirza hangs on to her 67th place in singles rankings, while estranged ''Indian Express'' pair of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi slipped down the doubles ladder, according to the latest rankings issued today.

Hyderabadi ace Sania is static at 67th with 382 ranking points in her kitty.

Among her compatriots, US-based Shikha Uberoi (127) slipped four rungs to finish 215, Isha Lakhani (45.50) fell six places to 392, Ankita Bhambri (42.50) slid a mammoth 78 notches to 413, while Rushmi Chakravarthi (34.75) also slipped 48 places to finish at 461.

In the doubles rankings, Leander Paes lost one place to finish at 11th, while Bhupathi, who, along with Mario Ancic, crashed out of the St Petersburg Open losing their second round match, slipped four places to 31.
