Oriental Bank Q2 FY 07 net increases 51 pc

New Delhi, Oct 30: Oriental Bank of Commerce today registered a 51 per cent increase in its net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006, at Rs 249.51 crore, as compared to Rs 165.27 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The bank's total income increased 22.15 per cent to Rs 1440.13 crore during the quarter from Rs 1178.91 crore for the same quarter a year ago.
