Orchid signs contract with Biovitrum AB

Chennai, Oct 30 (UNI) City-based pharma major Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd today announced that it had signed a contract with Biovitrum to undertake medicinal chemistry work to support certain drug discovery activities of Biovitrum AB.

Biovitrum was an integrated biopharma company with a broad project portfolio and operations in drug discovery research, development, manufacturing and product sales, headquartered in Sweden, Europe, 'Orchid considers this tie-up as yet another validation of its ability to offer world-class drug discovery services to reputed clients around the globe,' a company release here said.
