NCDEX records volume worth Rs 3,779 cr

Mumbai, Oct 30 (UNI) At least 605 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in the trading worth Rs 3,779 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 1,20,620 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in guarseeds, chana, pepper, gold, jeera and urad desi.

On Saturday, about 560 members participated in trading and put through 57,880 trades. The volume of trading till 1400 hrs was around Rs 1,789 (one way).

Active trades were high in chana, guarseed, pepper, chilli and refined soy oil, a NCDEX release here said.
