Nagar Ghat mishap: Toll rises to three

Khandwa, MP, Oct 30 (UNI) With two more bodies being found, the death toll in yesterday's boat capsize at this district's pilgrim spot Omkareshwar has gone up to three.

''The corpses of Surendra Kumar Agrawal (45) and Murarilal (48) were recovered today about 1.5 km from Nagar Ghat where the mishap occurred. The police and divers are still searching for two missing persons,'' said Superintendent of Police K D Parashar.

An order has been issued for monitoring at villages on the riverbank. Sixteen members of an Agrawal family from Mumbai's Bhuleshwar locality were heading for the Narmada confluence yesterday. Eleven persons were rescued. A woman's body was found yesterday and four were missing.
