MRPL Q2 net at Rs 9.29 crore

Mumbai, Oct 30 (UNI) Petroleum major Mangalore Refinery&Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has posted a net profit of Rs 9.29 crore for the quarter ended September 30 as compared to Rs 165.99 crore for the corresponding quarter the previous year.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 6,206.20 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, to Rs 8,070.34 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
