Japan's Fujitsu ties up with RT Outsourcing Services

New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) Japan-based global provider of customer-focused IT and communications solutions, Fujitsu today said it has tied up with RT Outsourcing Services Ltd to provide service and support for its personal computing range of products in India.

''We have tied up with RT Outsourcing Services Ltd for providing service and support to our valued customers, for our entire product ensemble in India. We hope that this alliance will not only reduce support cost and enhance customer loyalty, but also the direct competitive advantage and convenience to the customer would be an added advantage,'' Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd Vice-President (Sales) Mok Wai Tong said.

With this tie-up, the company expects to cover 10 cities including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Cochin, Hyderabad and Pune in the initial phase.

RT Outsourcing Services is a technical support and repair services organisation offering integrated helpdesk, repair and logistics services for IT, telecom, and CE businesses. It is funded by two Indian venture funds.

It employs more than 1,000 technically qualified staff and has centralised call center in the national capital and two refurbishment facilities in New Delhi and Bangalore.

Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is the Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters for PC business of Fujitsu Limited. Its responsibilities include the marketing and sales of a wide range of personal computers for the corporate and end-user markets in the Asia Pacific.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Fujitsu Limited reported consolidated revenues of about 4.8 trillion yen for the fiscal ended March 31, 2006.
