Huawei-3Com deploys WAN to connect branches of Dhanalakshmi bank

Bangalore, Oct 30 (UNI) Huawei-3Com, a leading IP networking company, today announced the successful deployment of Wide Area Network to connect branches of Thrissur-based Dhanalakshmi Bank.

According to a release here by H3C, the deployment of the most advanced technology would help the bank better its performance in providing value-added facilities to its customers and security to achieve more cost-effective high speed network.

The release said the first phase covered 70 branches and networking of data centre, and the second phase the remaining 70 branches. The challenge for H3C was to provide branch connectivity with data centre and data recovery centre with back up links. To meet the key requirements of high quality and performance, H3C's high-end router had been deployed and multiple routers had been configured as a cluster to guarantee zero downtime, it added.
