HM Div Cdr killed in Doda

Jammu, Oct 30 (UNI) Security forces today gunned down a top Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) operative in Doda district here, sources said.

A divisional commander of HM, Noor Mohammad alias Javed Burky, was killed in an encounter with a joint party of police and four Rashtriya Rifles (RR) personnel at Panchraba Thathri area in Doda, Senior Superintendent of Police Manohar Singh told UNI.

Noor (Mohammad) was the most wanted HM militant operating in Doda since 1992, he said.
