Essel's Gavel Fashions targets Rs 300 crore turnover

Kolkata, Oct 30 (UNI) Making foray into the retail sector, the Subhash Chandra promoted Gavel Fashions has targeted Rs 300 crore turnover with the launch of 20 international apparel and fashion accessory brands in luxury segment in the country over the next three years.

A 100 per cent subsidiary of the Essel Group, the newly launched Gavel fashions would open a combination of mono and multi-brand stores in cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata, a statement issued here today said.

" With a targeted turnover of Rs. 300 crore in the next three years, Gavel Fashions aims to become a key player in the niche fashion retail industry of the country that will see over 20-odd niche and highly apparitional brands from various parts of the world," it said.

Gavel Fashions is engaged in the high-end retail segment focussing on international apparel and fashion accessories brands.

The company is headquartered in New Delhi and has an office in Dubai.

CEO Gagan Goel said the company would bring the best brands of contemporary formal and casual wears, fashion wear and fashion accessories. The first brand would be launched in Delhi by the end of this year.
