Das takes over as Uttaranchal Chief Secretary

Dehradun, Oct 30: Mr Surjeet Kishore Das, an IAS officer of 1973 batch today took over as the Chief Secretary of Uttaranchal in place of Mr M Ramachandran who has been given portfolio of Secretary for Urban Development in the Centre.

Mr Das has served the state as District Magistrate, Circle Commissioner, besides looking after Home, Medical and Revenue Departments successfully.
