Cylone 'Ogni' crosses Andhra coast, weakens into depression

Chennai, Oct 30 (UNI) The cyclonic storm ''Ogni'' over the West Central Bay crossed the Andhra Coast between Ongole and Bapatla at 1300 hrs today.

A special weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological department here said the storm further weakened into a depression and lay centred at 1430 hrs about 25 km South West of Bapatla.

It is likely to move further in a North North-westerly direction and weaken further, the bulletin said.
