Congress actually running Madhu Koda govt: Sumitra Mahajan

Giridih, Oct 30 (UNI) The BJP today said the UPA stands no chance of garnering votes in Koderma due to ''incoherence'' among the allies and charged the Congress leadership with running the government from behind the curtain.

BJP in-charge of Jharkhand Sumitra Mahajan said the state government was being run by the UPA leaders sitting in Delhi.

Ms Mahajan said the Congress actually wanted fresh election but did not disclose their strategy fearing public wrath.

Talking to reporters here, she said people would not vote for BJP deserter Babulal Marandi as he was now campaigning against the party which made him a leader.

People will not forgive the act of betrayal she said.

The BJP leader said there was a BJP wave in adding people would not accept those who favoured postponement of Afzal Guru's death sentence, an accused in the Parliament attack case.

Referring to Railway Minister Lalu Prasad active role in ''toppling'' the erstwhile NDA governmnet and help in installing the UPA at the helm of affairs in the state, she said his main intention was aimed at skowing down in vestigation and prouse cution in the Animal Husbandary cases.
