CM should apologise over anti-Bhajan remarks: Bishnoi

Hisar, Oct 30 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda should apologise publicly for his ''false statement'' that former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal did not release compensation or ex-gratia job to the families of farmers killed in police firing during his regime, Kuldip Bishnoi, a Congress MP said today.

''The affected families were given Rs two lakh as compensation apart from a government job to one in the family,'' Mr Bishnoi said while talking to mediapersons here today.

Mr Hooda had launched a baseless propaganda against Mr Bhajan Lal to ''malign him and mislead the people'', he said.

In a caustic attack on the Haryana government, he said, ''Eight dead bodies recovered only in Faridabad in just seven days is the blatant example of lawlessness in the state. The criminals of other states are taking shelter in Haryana and its border towns have become haven for the offenders and hardcore criminals.'' Mr Bishnoi said,''Many legislators who are not happy with the functioning of the government, are in touch with me and would openly express their opinion in the coming Rohtak rally'.' ''The SEZ policy should be immediately withdrawn as it is anti-farming,'' he demanded.
