Campaign for 33rd National Games launched

Guwahati, Oct 30 (UNI) Asom Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today ceremonially launched the - ''100 Days to Go'' campaign for coming 33rd National Games to be held here in February, 2007.

Mr Gogoi also released the 33rd National Games Newsletter at a function held at the newly built Indira Gandhi Atheletics Stadium at Sorusajai, near here.

The highlight of the entire programme was presentation of cultural items by troupes of students from various schools.

The National Games song was rendered at the end of the programme.

Eminent actor Nipon Goswami appealed to the people to be present at the inaugural function of the 33rd National Games, exactly after 100 days from today.
