BJP seeks adequate forces in Koderma during polls

Ranchi, Oct 30 (UNI) Apprehending disruption in peaceful conduct of November 6 by-election to Koderma parliamentary seat, particularly in naxal-domiated pockets, the BJP today demanded deployment of adequate paramilitary forces at the polling booths.

Party's senior leader and MLA Raghubir Das sent a fax to the Election Commission in this regard.

Mr Das stressed the need for regular patrolling of security officers equipped with sophisticated arms in naxal affected areas.

The BJP leader also demanded that people from outside Koderma and Giridih be assigned to work on polling date as well as for counting.
