Bank looters nabbed, cash recovered
Neemuch, Oct 30 (UNI) Three of the four persons accused of looting a nationalised bank today and decamping with excess of Rs 6 lakh were later arrested and more than Rs 4.5 lakh recovered besides seizing of weapons.
''This afternoon, the robbers targeted the UCO Bank branch near Dicken Crossing in Ratangarh Police Station limits. The cashier was threatened and Rs 6,10,300 looted. Those apprehended are car driver Bapu Nath, hailing from Kondla, Ravi Jatav and Gajendra while Deepak Jatav is absconding'' said Superintendent of Police Rakesh Gupta.
Two crude guns, a pistol, 11 rounds of .315-bore ammunition and 12 rounds of .32-bore ammunition were seized.
''The trio were arrested near Dadoli village. The mastermind was Nath who works at a JK Tyre factory at Banmor in Morena district,'' the officer added.
