Badal flays Mann's idea of holding dharna outside SGPC office
Jalandhar, Oct 30 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD) president and former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today ridiculed Shiromani Akali Dal(Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann's idea of holding dharna outside the SGPC office in the Golden Temple premises on November two, in protest against violent clash during a religious function at Kathunangal.
Talking to reporters here today Mr Badal said that Sikhs did visit Golden Temple to seek pardon for the sins or mistakes committed by them unknowingly or knowingly where as Mr Mann wanted to visit to commit mistake.
Replying to a question Mr Badal reiterated that SAD and BJP alliance was functioning smoothly in the state and there would be no problem over the issue of seat sharing.
He reiterated that the SAD candidates for the next assembly elections would be announced in December.
Mr Badal was in the town to participate in a religious function in the Lyalpur Khalsa College here today.
