ASI caught accepting bribe

Shivpuri, MP, Oct 30 (UNI) An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), who was posted at Kotwali police station, has been caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000, police said today.

Additional Superintendent of Police Mithilesh Shukla said ASI S N Sengar had demanded bribe in an accident case but the aggrieved party approached SP Sajid Farid Sapu.

A police team led by the SP caught Sengar accepting the bribe last evening. He was suspended immediately.
