Air Deccan launches operations from Tirupati

Tirupati, Oct 30 (UNI) Hardly a day after Indian began Tirupati-New Delhi operations, the private Air Deccan launched operations from here to Bangalore and Visakhapatnam today.

In a bid to help the pilgrims, a flight with a seating capacity of 72 would ply between the two cities. It will take off from Bangalore at 1055 hrs and land here at 1145 hrs, official sources said.

In return, it will leave Tirupati at noon to reach Visakhapatnam at 1340 hrs and return to Tirupati at 1355 hrs.

Again, the flight will leave for Bangalore at 1550 hrs and reach there at 1640 hrs, the sources added.
