14 persons injured in explosion

Siddharthnagar, Oct 30 (UNI) At least 14 persons, mostly children were injured when a gas cylinder exploded here during Ramlila Mela last evening, police today said.

The mishap took place in Kapiya Mishra Village under Sadar police station area during Ramlila Mela, where as many as 14 people, mostly children, received burn injuries after a gas cylinder exploded suddenly.

The injured were rushed to district hospital, where the condition of six of them is said to be critical, police added.
