Youth killed in road accident

Jaunpur, Oct 29 (UNI) A youth was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle here today.

Police said Vijyi (25)-- a resident of Punchatia Bazar was crushed to death by a speeding private bus, when he was crossing the road.

Agitated by the incident, mob staged a 'dharna' on the Jaunpur-Azamgarh highway effecting the flow of traffic for couple of hours.

Meanwhile, hunt was on to nab the absconding driver.
