Two drown in Ganga during Chhath

Khagaria, Oct 29 (UNI) Two girls met watery grave in the Ganga during celebration of Chhath at Aguwani ghat in Bihar's Khagaria district today.

Sub-divisional police officer Indu Shekhar Jha said the girls, identified as Neha and Ajak Kumari of Dumaria Bujurg village, went deep into Ganga to take holy dip in connection with the religious festival.

Attempts were on to fish out the bodies, he added.
