Three killed, 6 injured in road accident

Muzaffarnagar, Oct 29 (UNI) At least three people including two women were killed and six others injured in a head on collision between two vehicles here.

Police said the accident took place on Kanpur-Sagar national highway under Kabaryi police station area, where an overcrowded vehicle rammed into a truck coming from the opposite direction.

Mangal Singh and his daughter Sunita died on the spot.

The injured were rushed to the district hospital, where another passenger Parveen Bano succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile, the truck was seized and hunt was on to nab the driver, police added.
