Security supervisor shot

Dehri-on-Sone, Bihar, Oct 29 (UNI) A security guard of a private agency has shot dead his senior, protecting the construction site of a railway bridge over Sone river under Dalmiya Nagar police station of Rohtas distict, police said today.

Sub-divisional police officer Mithilesh Kumar said a security guard became furious when his supervisor, in-charge of guards, warned him of disciplinary action for dereliction to duty as the former was found asleep during duty hours in a surprise check.

The guard shot at the supervisor and the latter died on the spot, Mr Kumar said, adding other guards on the site later ransacked the site office of the construction company, demanding arrest of the culprit, who fled after committing the crime.
