PHF-IHF planning Indo-Pak hockey Test series in March

Lahore, Oct 29 (UNI) Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) secretary Akhtarul Islam will meet IHF officials next month in New Delhi to finalise the schedule of a home-and-away Test series in March next year.

According to a report in 'The News', Mr Islam will arrive on November 2 and meet officials from the Indian Hockey Federation to finalise the details.

''We have to sort out the details of a series of Test matches against India with the IHF officials,'' Mr Islam told the daily.

''March is the best time to host the 2007 series but it would only be decided once we reach an agreement with the IHF,'' he said.
