PDS rice seized from mill

Raipur, Oct 29 (UNI) About Rs 16 lakh worth of rice meant for the Public Distribution System and Rs 37 lakh worth paddy have been seized during a raid, by Chhattisgarh's Food Department officials, on a rice mill in Raigarh district.

''As many as 1,063 quintals of rice and 4,560 quintals of paddy were seized last evening,'' state Food Minister Nankiram Kanwar told UNI here today.
