Pachauri fires broadside against BJP

Jabalpur, Oct 29 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Suresh Pachauri today gave urged the Congress workers to struggle towards making the party assume Madhya Pradesh's reins again after the 2008 assembly election.

''During the 2003 Vidhan Sabha poll, the Bharatiya Janata Party promised adequate power, water and proper roads in three months but even three years later those promises lie unfulfilled,'' he said while addressing a Jabalpur-Katni rural Congress workers convention at Dharmpura village 30 km from here.

He alleged that 735 schemes were announced but only 454 were started.
