One killed, 20 wounded in accident in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 29 (UNI) At least one person was killed and 20 others wounded, some of them critically, when a packed passenger vehicle over turned turtle near the apple town of Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district today, official sources said.

They said an overcrowded matador was on its way to Sopore from Zaloora when it over turned turtle at Seelu in Sopore area at 1115 hrs.

The sources said at least 21 passengers were wounded in the accident. They were rushed to different hospitals in the district.

They said five critically wounded were later referred to various hospitals here where one of them later succumbed to injuries.
