No FIR filed against CM's son: in hotel brawl case DGP
Bangalore, Oct 29 (UNI) Karnataka Director General of Police B S Sial today said the police had not registered any FIR on the complaint filed by the employees of a city hotel on the brawl in which Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil Gowda was allegedly involved.
Speaking to news persons he said in their complaint, the hotel employees had not named anyone. They had only said that some unknown persons had manhandled them, breaking the glass and furniture.
Nikhil and his two friends, who were treated in a government hospital after being allegedly beaten up by the hotel staff, had also filed a counter complaint with the police against the staff.
The incident occurred during the early hours of Friday when the three youth allegedly demanded food after the working hours from the hotel staff who refused to serve them. Later the youth allegedly beat up the staff who returned the favour.
