Man charged with attempted murder of police officers

LONDON, Oct 29 (Reuters) A 22-year-old man was charged today with the attempted murder of two British police officers during an armed robbery, Scotland Yard said.

Mark Roberts was also charged with robbery and the unlawful possession of a firearm.

Another man, 41-year-old Andrew Roberts, was charged with robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm and actual bodily harm on police.

No other details were immediately available.
