Indian to launch Bangalore-Male services from Nov 2

Tirupati, Oct 29 (UNI) Seeking to Ramify operations Indian is launching its winter schedule international flights from Bangalore to Male in the Maldives from November two.

Addressing the press, before launching the first Tirupati-Delhi via Hyderabad flight at Renigunta Airport here, its Commercial General Manager southern region E A Varghese said ''at present, Indian operates a daily flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Male''.

As part of launching its winter schedule flights from today with several new links, Indian has increased frequency of flights on its domestic and international network, he said. On the Gulf sector, Indian would introduce a second direct flight from Delhi to Dubai shortly.

However, on the domestic front, Tirupati is being linked to Delhi with a daily A320 flight and would operate via Hyderabad.

The frequency has been increased commensurate to the to match increasing demand, he said adding the Kolkata-Bagdogra service would now be thrice a week and Kolkata-Aizawl-Imphal-Kolkata would be four times a week.

On the international front, Kolkata-Kathmandu service would now operate four times a week and the frequency of the Bangkok-Gaya sector would be thrice a week from October, he added.
