Heavy rain in South Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 29 (UNI) The Southern parts of Kerala received heavy rainfall during the past 24 hours with Varkala recording 13 cm rain.

Local weather office said Thiruvananthapuram city received seven cm rainfall, while Karippur, Perinthalmanna and Kottayam reported six cm each.

Alappuzha received four cm rainfall, followed by Cochin International Airport and Kochi Airport- three cm each.
