Email threat: Police take Akbar to internet cafe
Kochi, Oct 29: As part of the probe into the e-mail threat, police today took Akbar Raj, arrested for sending threatening email messages to President A P J Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, to the internet cafe from where he had sent the mails.
Sources said, a police team headed by Central Police Station CI G Venu took Akbar to the cafe to collect evidence relating to the threatening e-mail messages.
The police were still interrogating the accused.
The accused would be presented before Ernakulam First Class Judicial Magistrate this evening, sources added.
