Cops recover body of woman, infants from well

Basti, Oct 29 (UNI) Police today recovered the body of a woman and her two infants from a well under Walterganj police station area here.

Police Superintendent R P Chaturvedi said Meena-- wife of Ajay Yadav-- a native of Uttar Tola area in Ganeshpur village and her two infants Shalini and Shalu were missing since last three days.

Acting on a tip-off, a police party reached the spot and recouered their bodies.

NO motive for the murder has been yet ascertained.

Investigations are on.
