Boy burnt to death in fire mishap

Vadodara, Oct 29 (UNI) Police today said a boy was burnt to death while cleaning gold in an 'bhatti'(oven) at his second floor rented home in Sant Kabir road here.

The victim Purana Tisei (16) was working at the bhatti when the bhatti exploded. Purana was burnt to death. A co-worker Mohammad Malik (21) tried to save Purana and consequently suffered severe burns in both arms and legs.

Purana and Malik were rushed to the SSG hospital yesterday where the former was declared brought dead, police added.
