5 people killed in train mishap

Kishanganj, Oct 29 (UNI) Five labourers engaged for repairing railway tracks were run over and killed by speedy 3245 Danapur-New Jalpaiguri Capital Express train today near Dhumdangi station in West Bengal's North Dinajpur.

Divisional railway manager of Katihar Mehtab Singh said normal train movement under Northeast Frontier Railway was not affected due to the tragic incident.

The victims were identified as A N Singh, Kamrul Sheikh, Yashgen, Gafur and Shekhua.
