5 drown in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) Five people, including a 17-year-old girl, drowned in three incidents here today.

Fire brigade sources said while a boy drowned in the Okhla canal at 0630 hrs, an 18-year-old boy and two men met a watery grave in the Agra canal at 0700 hrs.

In another incident, a 17-year-old girl, Sarita, drowned in the Samaypur Badli canal near Rohini Sector 15 at around 0800 hrs when she went to have a bath after performing Chhatt puja, police said.
