Young couple commits suicide due to fear of AIDS

Visakhapatnam, Oct 28 (UNI) A 23 year-old woman, who was confirmed as HIV positive and her 25 year-old paramour committed suicide by consuming a pesticide.

According to police, the woman C Jyothi was having an extra marital affair with the man K Tata Rao. Ms Joyti had tested positive for HIV recently. The man feared that he would also be affected with the disease. The couple consumed pesticide in the early hours yesterday.

The bodies were sent for postmortem.

A case has been registered and investigation was under way, police added.
