Woman accuses trader of sexual exploitation for 7 years

Hisar, Oct 28 (UNI) A woman has lodged a complaint with police against a trader who allegedly drugged and sexually abused her on promise of marriage and later blackmailed her for over seven years.

On the complaint of 21-year-old woman, the nodal cell of Hisar police has summoned Harbans Dhalia, trader of Rajguru Market, on October 30, to look into the allegations.

The woman, Luxmi, told media persons here today that Harbans took her to a rented room in Rishi Nagar and kept her as a wife for some days and then stopped visiting her. When he refused to accept her, she was forced to report the matter to the police.

Inspector Surendar Kaur, incharge of nodal cell of Hisar police said, ''We are investigating the matter to find the truth. Both the parties have been asked to report on October 30.'' UNI XC JN JMK SB RK2018
