Two pilgrims die at Tirumala

Tirumala, Oct 28 (UNI) Two pilgrims, including a 25-year-old youth, collapsed and died at Tirumala Hills here today.

Police said the deceased were identified as Rameswar (25) and B Kondaiah (45).

Mr Ramesh was one of the five-member group that came from Bangalore for darshan of Lord Balaji yesterday. Later, they went to Papanasanam Dam for a holy dip.

While returning, he suddenly slipped and collapsed onthe road. He died enroute to the hospital, police said.

In another incident, a Mr Kondaiah from Kurnool collapsed following a heart attack and died on the way to hospital, police added.
