Torrent posts net profit of Rs 25.64 cr in Q2

Mumbai, Oct 28: Torrent Pharmaceuticals has posted a net profit of Rs 25.64 crore for the quarter ended September 30 this year as compared to Rs 22.60 crore for the same quarter last year.

Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 179.38 crore for the quarter ended September 30 last year to Rs 230.16 crore for the quarter ended September 30 this year, the company informed BSE here today.

The group has posted a net profit of Rs 22.85 crore for the quarter ended September 30 as compared to Rs 17.08 crore for the same period last year. Total Income has increased from Rs 249.95 crore for the quarter ended September 30 last year to Rs 322.13 crore for the second quarter this year.
