Three killed, over two dozen injured in head-on collision

Ludhiana, Oct 28 (UNI) Three persons, including a woman and a six-year-old girl, were killed on the spot and more than two dozen injured in a head-on collision near Baddowal Cantonment near here this morning.

Police said the Ludhiana-Barnala bus collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction on the main Ferozpur road and also a Canter following the truck hit it from behind.

The accident took place when the bus tried to overtake another vehicle at a high speed, police added.

All the injured persons were admitted in different city hospitals and the deceased were yet to be identified, police said.
