Three killed as car smashes into wall

LONDON, Oct 28 (Reuters) Three young men were killed in the early hours today when their car crashed into a wall near Bristol, Avon and Somerset police said.

A police spokesman said one of the men was pronounced dead at the scene and the two other occupants of the Peugeot 306 died shortly after they were taken to hospital after the crash in Downend.

The names of the three men, thought to be from the Bristol area, will not be released until Monday when next-of-kin will have been informed.
