Silver, gold opens firm on bullish global advice

Mumbai, Oct 28: Spot silver and gold today opened on an higher note due to bullish global advice, traders from the Bombay Bullion association said.

Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 18,614, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,819, Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 8,875.
